We’re looking for a Scotland-based volunteer to help support one of our online communities between November and March 2026.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys online interaction, has a warm and encouraging tone, and wants to make a difference from home.

About the role

This role involves light-touch social media activity within a closed group for parents and carers, with a focus on support for online finances and digital skills. You’ll be sharing useful resources, responding to questions (or flagging them if you’re unsure), and helping connect members with relevant organisations and charities. You’ll also help keep the group engaged and informed through friendly, supportive posts.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys online interaction, has a warm and encouraging tone, and wants to make a difference from home.

About you

This role is ideal for someone based in Scotland who enjoys connecting with others online and offering a friendly, supportive presence. You’re comfortable using Facebook and happy to post updates, share helpful resources, and respond to questions from group members.

You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to help, a positive attitude, and the confidence to flag anything you’re unsure about. If you’re organised, reliable, and interested in helping people feel informed and included, we’d love to hear from you.
