Who is AFK? <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AFK helps children and young people with disabilities and autism live more independent, fulfilling lives. They provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS and prepare students with learning disabilities for life after school through our training and work experience programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can AFK help?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AFK provides mobility equipment, such as bespoke powered wheelchairs, specialised trikes and walkers, to disabled children and young people up to age 25. The team will accept applications from or on behalf of anyone up to the age of 25 who cannot get the mobility equipment they need on the NHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Life and Work Programme is to support disabled London residents aged 18-25 into paid employment. They provide skills training and real-world work experience, leading to job opportunities and flexible support into paid employment.<\/p>\n\n\n
