As Volunteer Co-ordinator you will develop and co-ordinate volunteering on behalf of Family Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will contribute to facilitating the recruitment and retention of volunteers. You will also manage volunteers, with a strong emphasis on building relationships with supporters, both within corporate partnerships and at a more grassroot level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you join us, you’ll be:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Developing a compelling volunteer programme which serves the needs of teams across the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Generating appropriate volunteering opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of the organisation and ensuring that we operate best in class volunteer management practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Promoting volunteering through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recruiting and inducting new volunteers and managing the relationship during their time volunteering for Family Fund, ensuring that they are matched with the right opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Key point of contact and providing administrative support to volunteers, including development of structured volunteer engagement plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For this role you will need to have experience of recruiting and managing volunteers and supporters. You’ll also need an understanding of volunteering policies and support arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To be successful in this role you will need to be able to inspire and motivate others. You will have great interpersonal and networking skills, and an understanding of the barriers to volunteering and steps that can be taken to address these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, you will need to have good computer literacy skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Family Fund is a great place to work, for great people.
