Family Fund hosts key events throughout the year to raise essential funds and support families across the UK who care for disabled or seriously ill children and young adults. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re looking for compassionate, enthusiastic volunteers. Help champion out work, whether cheering at events or talking to families about the support we offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you’ll bring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
No formal qualifications are needed – just a warm smile and a bit of Family Fund sparkle! Whether you’re bringing lived experience or wider skills, or are looking to learn new ones, our dedicated team will support you every step of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How you can help<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Our volunteers assist in a variety of roles before, during, and after each event, including: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n
Sharing event details with your local community <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Coming up with great ideas for new events <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Serving as a local champion to support our Volunteer Coordinator <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Setting up\/clearing event spaces <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Assisting with registering participants <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Stewarding and cheering on participants <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Handing out information packs, event information and refreshments <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Being the face of Family Fund and communicating our impactful work <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Working as part of a team to make sure our events are a great experience for all involved <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
