As 2024 draws to a close, I want to take a moment on behalf of everyone at Family Fund to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all our valued supporters. Whether you’ve helped families access grants, raised awareness of our services, donated, fundraised, shared your stories, or participated in our events, you<\/em> have helped us make a real tangible difference this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has been another challenging year for many families, particularly those on low incomes raising disabled or seriously ill children. Rising food prices, higher energy bills, and the daily demands of caring continue to make it harder than ever for families to afford even essentials. Over the past year, we’ve seen a sharp rise in grant applications with even more families turning to us for the very first time. This surge in need has stretched our resources and highlighted just how essential and how vital your support is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To meet this growing demand, we urgently need to expand and diversify our funding. By developing new funding sources, finding new opportunities and fostering strong partnerships, we can ensure that Family Fund remains a lifeline for even more families— not just now, but for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expanding our services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on 2024, we are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together. This year we have already delivered over 73,000 grants<\/strong> across our diverse range of grant programmes, offering practical help and essential support to tens of thousands of families across the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve also expanded our services introducing more workshops, e-learning courses, and a brand-new self-serve resource<\/a> section on our website. A highlight of the year was our Discover Digital Summer Festival<\/a>, a wonderful celebration of learning, connection and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our colleagues at Family Fund Business Services<\/a>, our social enterprise and wholly owned trading subsidiary, have continued to grow, supporting more clients and helping fund elements of our charitable work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your unwavering support means everything to us. Together, we can continue to be there for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people in 2025 and beyond, helping them access the  opportunities and support they need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From all of us at Family Fund, we wish you a happy, healthy, and peaceful festive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
