The Disability Confident scheme<\/a> supports employers to create inclusive workplaces where disabled people and those with long-term health conditions can thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does it mean to be a Disability Confident Leader?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
A Disability Confident employer takes action to challenge attitudes, remove barriers and support disabled people to fulfil their potential. Being Disability Confident also means providing reasonable adjustments and helping disabled employees, or those with a health condition, stay in work. This means we can confidently encourage disable staff to apply to join our team, knowing they will be supported at work. This brings wider experience, insight and new perspectives to our team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a Disability Confident Leader, we go even further. We share our knowledge, influence others and lead by example within our local and business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
