Faith, aged 11 – A love of design<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Faith loves to draw, design and make costumes. Her snowy church scene captures the peaceful magic of Christmas and reflects her love of creativity and imagination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“She loves to draw and design and make costumes and lives in Worcestershire.”<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope, aged 13 – Finding expression through art<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When Hope received a Family Fund grant for an iPad, it opened up a new way to express herself through digital art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I started using Procreate and doing digital art, after getting a Family Fund grant for an iPad. I use art to express myself, and work through feelings and things that are happening in the world and my life.”<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her tree design combines “imperfectness and attention to detail” — a beautiful reflection of both creativity and life itself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope’s mum, Emma, told us how much the iPad has supported her daughter’s confidence and communication: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So much has happened for her since first getting the iPad from Family Fund. It’s filled with art, photos, music and writing, and it’s such an important communication tool for her.”<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grayson, aged 9 – Every reindeer counts<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Grayson and his dad, who both have autism, created their festive design together using Procreate. Their picture of Santa’s sleigh is full of heart and meaning – from Santa’s hearing aid and sunflower lanyard to reindeers with visible disabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We believe no matter your disability you can achieve anything you put your mind to.”<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their message is one of inclusion, hope and Christmas magic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leo, aged 12 – A Christmas bunny full of calm<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Leo painted his Christmas bunny at school last year – and it’s now one of his family’s favourite festive designs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The design brought a tear to my eye because it’s the first time Leo’s ever painted something like this. It relaxed him so much – he really found something that made him feel calm.”<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After starting a specialist school and receiving a Family Fund grant for a computer, Leo’s confidence has grown enormously – and he now uses his digital skills every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
