We’re here for families raising disabled or seriously ill children, but we can’t do it without support. Fundraising is a vital part of what we do, it’s how we can support more families in need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make it easier (because we know school life is busy!) we’ve put together our top three inclusive fundraising ideas below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Take a break with cake<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Make and colour in your own bunting, posters and cake flags or let us provide templates to cut out. Ask children and parents to provide baked goods or bake your own as part of the school day. Invite parents and children to take a break in their day to donate and enjoy a delicious treat. The money you raise could support families needing a break from the everyday routine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n Make your own posters, bunting and more using our easy-to-use templates\n <\/a>\n\n\n\n

2. Pick a place, pick a time and run, walk or wheel your way to victory!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We understand that every school is different, just like every child is unique. This challenge has no limits and can be tailored to suit the needs of every pupil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pick a place.<\/strong> Laps of the school field? Lengths of the playground? You could involve fitness stations or sensory obstacles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Pick a time.<\/strong> 10 minutes? 30 minutes? 60 minutes? How many lengths or laps can the class achieve in the time?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Victory! <\/strong>Encourage children to get sponsored per lap, length or whatever you choose. Every step taken, every wheel rotated, and every metre moved is remarkable. Let your class know that their incredible efforts are supporting disabled and seriously ill children across the UK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n Use Just Giving to easily gather online donations\n <\/a>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Find template sponsorship forms, posters and more\n <\/a>\n\n\n\n
3. Dress YOUR way!<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
You’ve probably done it before but own clothes or dress down days are a simple way to create impact and raise vital funds. We know that dressing differently doesn’t suit everyone, so feel free to adapt the day to suit your children. How about wearing hearts for Family Fund or choosing to wear something purple for the day? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simply suggest a £1 donation per pupil and let parents and carers know the difference it makes. However you do it, we’re grateful for the awareness and money raised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
